Workshops Coordinator

This volunteer position offers great opportunities to meet well-known artists and educators in the arts field, while contributing to the development of Victoria Chapter artists. They are invited to attend monthly board meetings but regular meeting attendance is not mandatory.

The Workshops Coordinator has the responsibility of booking two workshops a year.  Our current Workshops Coordinator will train and work with you you before they leave.  Responsibilities include:

•     identifying, contacting instructors,
•     working with venue operators to hold the in-person workshops (we have venues available).
•     writing the materials to be used for publicity,
•     acting as contact person for workshops,

The position works closely with the Treasurer to manage registration fees and finances. Added benefit — the Workshops Coordinator can attend our Victoria Chapter workshops at no cost.
