Workshops Coordinator

​​As Workshops Coordinator I have the responsibility of booking two workshops a year.  This entails contacting and negotiating with the instructors, producing the materials to be used for publicity, finding a suitable venue to hold the in-person workshops and lately, host the workshops via zoom. I have been the contact person to answer questions and take registrations from artists interested in attending. I am always in close contact with the treasurer who handles all the money. 

​My goal when thinking of future instructors is to offer our members a wide high-quality variety of media and approaches so they find extremely good value and can grow in their artistic journey. 

The greatest thing about this role is that I get to choose the artists I want to learn from myself and make it work according to my own availability.  Another big perk is that I don’t need to pay for the workshop.  I may be biased but I think it’s one of the best positions to hold on the board!
