Join the Victoria Chapter of the FCA
The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) is a national non-profit founded in 1941 by professional Canadian working artists including Group of Seven luminaries Lawren Harris, Arther Lismer and A. Y. Jackson. Other notable founding members included Emily Carr and the Honourable Mark Kearley.
Today the Victoria Chapter of the FCA continues our mission to advance the knowledge and appreciation of art and culture to all Canadians, offering education, exhibitions and communication in the Visual Arts, and to support and promote emerging to professional member artists.

- Demos or critiques every third Thursday monthly;
- Two juried exhibitions annually;
- Workshops led by well-known artists;
- Opportunities to exhibit in Vancouver at the Federation Gallery and online at FederationGallery.com;
- Opportunities to volunteer, connect and create with other artists!

There are four distinct status types of memberships within the FCA:

Membership Fees
New Supporting Membership - $65.00/year + Chapter membership $30.00/year
Exhibiting Membership - $95.00/year + Chapter membership $30.00/year
Signature Status (AFCA/SFCA) - $95.00/year + Chapter membership $30.00/year
