Doreen Green
Doreen Green was born in Vancouver, B.C., but has lived most of her adult life in Duncan on Vancouver Island.
She is an enormously diversified artist, and her skill in the medium of graphite drawings and soft pastel has led her into international shows in Canada and the United States. The Pastel Society of Canada was represented with her painting “Picnic Site” in the Florida International Exhibition in 1991. Most recently, the Government of British Columbia presented her painting, “Khenipsen Flats” to the Cowichan Tribes in an historic ceremony in Duncan.
As a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, The Visual Arts Alberta Association, and the Society of Canadian Artists, her paintings have been exhibited in California, Toronto, Montreal, and galleries in Western Canada.
