I was born in the Netherlands and during my school years I spent most of my time drawing in class and at home. On occasion I was allowed to accompany my Mother to Amsterdam’s “Sunday Painters” (when the models were clothed).
After moving to Canada I pursued drawing when time allowed. Basically self-taught, I started drawing more after my children were grown up.
A lot of my work is portraits by commission and my work has also been successfully shown, won awards and sold through:

And juried shows:
Sooke Fine Art Shows
Ladysmith Fine Art Exhibition
Federation of Canadian Artists
as well as private sales in Canada, the United States, Britain, Germany and the Netherlands.
